Leading the development of new crops and oilseeds in Canada, including the world-leading Carinata breeding and germplasm development program.

Agrisoma and BioDimensions have partnered to evaluate Carinata production in the Mississippi Delta region for biofuel and oleochemical end-use markets.

Partners in the Prairie Gold project, funded federally and provincially through the Canada-Saskatchewan Western Economic Partnership Agreement, to develop Carinata as a renewable alternative for petroleum-based products.

Agrisoma is the commercial partner for M21, a grower supported not-for-profit organization focused on mustard crop innovation and enhancing mustard crop production in Western Canada.
nrc National Research Council – Plant Biotechnology Institute
Agrisoma and NRC-PBI have formed an exclusive strategic alliance for industrial crops with access to a pipeline of innovative crop improvement and oil quality traits. NRC PBI is a world leader in oilseed crops and is Canada’s largest crop biotechnology organization.

Partners in the development of an optimized oil extraction and refining protocol for conversion of Carinata oil into biojet fuel.

Representing Saskatchewan mustard growers, this organization is working with Agrisoma to develop Carinata as a viable alternative for semi-arid production, focusing on agronomic package development and grower awareness and education.
sustain Sustainable Development Technology Canada
A federally-funded partnership supporting the application of ETL technology to rapidly develop the Carinata crop, targeting up to a 50% reduction in feedstock costs for biodiesel producers.

Licensing
As Agrisoma ETL is a broad-based crop improvement technology, the organization has entered into strategic licensing agreements with leading international partners to leverage the technology across other platforms.


 

dow Dow AgroSciences
Agrisoma and Dow AgroSciences are collaborating for commercialization of the ETL technology in major food crops, using the advantages of the ETL technology for improvement in food crop quality and performance, under a strategic commercial license option agreement.
