Energy Feedstock

Development efforts are focused on improving oilseed crops for use in biofuel production. Agrisoma has selected Brassica carinata (“Carinata”) as the crop platform to realize sustainable and economical biodiesel and biojet fuel production. Commercialization of elite Carinata lines is planned for 2012.

Agrisoma is leading activities across the energy feedstock value chain – from growers to processors to biofuel manufacturers to end-users – to ensure the delivery of a viable petroleum replacement.
